2025 CSFL Week #9 Awards

NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 17, 2025) – The final week of the 2025 Collegiate Sprint Football League (CSFL ) season saw several impressive individual performances including one that led to a walk-off win for Navy to claim the league championship. The weekly awards were announced by Commissioner Dan Mara.

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK (Xavier Limehouse, Chestnut Hill)
Limehouse accounted for 175 yards of total offense and three touchdowns in Chestnut Hill’s 41-0 win over St. Thomas Aquinas on Friday. He carried the rock 20 times for 162 yards and two scores while also catching a pair of balls for 13 yards and another TD. He broke the single season program record with 770 rushing yards.


DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK (Alexei DiDonato, Cornell)
DiDonato had a strong performance in helping to lead Cornell to a 31-14 win over their historic rival, Penn, on Friday night. He recorded four tackles, including 2.5 for loss, one sack, intercepted a pass and blocked a kick. His blocked punt happened in the endzone leading to a Big Red TD.


SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK (Jacori Sutton, Navy)
Sutton drilled the game-winning 36-yard field goal on the final play of overtime to lift Navy to a thrilling 20-17 win over arch rival Army on Saturday. In the process, the Mids captured the 2025 CSFL Championship. He was 2-for-2 on the day in field goal attempts.


ROOKIE OF THE WEEK (Carter Aime, Cornell)
Aime, who was a starter in the secondary all season long as a rookie, came up huge for Cornell in its win over Penn. He recorded a tackle for loss, intercepted a pass, forced a fumble and broke up another pass as the Big Red grounded the Quakers, 31-14.


HONOR ROLL
Jake Wolinski (Navy) – Logged nine tackles, one for loss and a QB hurry in the win over Army.

Brady Reynolds (Chestnut Hill) – Made a pair of field goals and converted 5 PATs in the win over STAC. Set program-record for longest FG with a 41-yarder.

Colin Cross (Penn) – Made 16 tackles and intercepted a pass against Cornell.
