2025 CSFL All-Conference & Major Awards Announced
By: CSFL Staff / November 24, 2025
NEW HAVEN, Conn. (November 25, 2025) – A quartet of
student-athletes earned major-award honors from the Collegiate Sprint Football
League (CSFL) on Tuesday, as the conference announced its all-conference and
major honors following the conclusion of the 2025 season. The list of honorees,
announced by CSFL Commissioner Dan Mara, included Navy’s Hunter Gennicks
(Offensive Player of the Year), Navy’s Jake Wolinski (Defensive Player of the
Year), Navy’s Jacori Sutton (Special Teams Player of the Year) and Army West
Point’s Marek Arbogast (Rookie of the Year).
Gennicks spearheaded Navy’s potent rushing attack as he
grounded out 1,188 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground. He rushed for nearly
150 yards per game and averaged 6.9 yards per carry. He was also named to the
All-CSFL First Team as a running back.
Wolinski, a linebacker, was the leading tackler on one of
the league’s stingiest defenses in 2025. He was in on 63 tackles, including 8.5
behind the line of scrimmage for minus-19 yards. Wolinski recorded one sack,
picked off a pair of passes and forced a fumble as well. He was named to the
All-CSFL First Team at the LB spot.
Sutton was outstanding as the Mids’ placekicker this season.
He drilled a 36-yard walk-off field goal in overtime versus arch-rival Army to
claim the 2025 CSFL Championship with the 20-17 victory. He was 3-for-5 on
field goals this year and converted 32 point-after tries. Sutton was named to
the all-conference first-team as its kicker.
Arbogast was a deep threat in Army’s impressive passing
attack this season. He caught 16 passes for 251 yards (15.69 yds/rec) and three
touchdowns, including a season-long reception of 78 yards.
