2024 Week #6 Honorees

OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK -- Lawrence Howard V (Chestnut Hill)
Howard either broke or tied six single-game program records in Saturday's win over St. Thomas Aquinas as he rushed 32 times for 247 yards and three touchdowns. He set or broke single-game records for carries, yards, rushing TDs, total TDs, all-purpose yards, and most points scored. Howard also became the first player in program history to record back-to-back 100-yard rushing games and the first in CHC history to have at least three 100-yard rushing games.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK -- Cam Janock (Penn)
Janock had a team-high nine tackles in Penn's 24-14 win over Caldwell last week. He also had 2.0 tackles for loss and two sacks, while also intercepting a pass as Penn remains in a tie for first place in the South Division with Navy.
SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK -- Adrian Montemayor (Penn)
Montemayor averaged 40 yards per punt, while going 3-for-3 on extra-point attempts and drilled a field goal to help Penn defeat Caldwell, 24-14.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK -- Damian Tavares (Caldwell)
Tavares recorded a single-game, school-record 22 tackles versus Penn last week. Seventeen (17) of his 22 stops were of the solo variety. Tavares also made two stops behind the line of scrimmage and recorded a sack.
HONOR ROLL
Amir Jenkins (Chestnut Hill) -- Six tackles, 2.5 TFL, 1.5 sacks and one one forced fumble vs. STAC.
Arthur Lavalais (Army West Point) -- Rushed 14 times for 122 yards and two TDs in a win vs. Mansfield.
Nyir Jones (St. Thomas Aquinas) -- Caught 10 passes for 187 yards and a TD vs. Chestnut Hill.
Ethan Hence (St. Thomas Aquinas) -- Logged 14 tackles (12 solo) vs. Chestnut Hill.
Broderick Freeman (Navy) -- Rushed six times for 53 yards (8.8 ypc) and two TDs in a win at Molloy.
