OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Kyle West (Army West Point)


West earned his first weekly award as he completed an impressive 21-of-24 passes for 220 yards and four touchdowns as Army opened up its 2024 campaign with a 35-0 win over Chestnut Hill College. West had TD passes of 30, 25, 33 and 3 yards.


DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Ethan Hence (St. Thomas Aquinas)


Hence spearheaded a defensive effort for St. Thomas Aquinas that limited Molloy to just 125 yards of total offense and seven points. He had seven tackles, a pass breakup and returned a fumble recovery 30 yards for a touchdown in the third quarter.


SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Jacori Sutton (Navy)


Sutton totaled 13 points in Navy's 49-0 win over Cornell in its home opener on Friday afternoon at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium. He was 3-for-4 on field goal attempts and was a perfect 4-for-4 on extra-point attempts. He drilled a season-long 32-yard field goal attempt.


ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - Broderick Freeman (Navy)


Freeman rushed 12 times for 124 yards and a powerful 23-yard touchdown run in the second half in which he broke four tackles to help lead Navy to a 49-0 win over Cornell. It was all part of a 448-yard rushing attack by the Mids in their 2024 home opener.


HONOR ROLL

Cahsid Raymond (Mansfield) - Had 284 yards of total offense, including 164 yards receiving, and two touchdowns versus Penn.

Alex Perine (Army West Point) - Averaged nearly 40 yards per punt, had two downed inside the 20-yard line, had two touchbacks in season-opening win over CHC.

JT Goodman (Penn) - Rushed for 80 yards and averaged 5.3 yards per attempt in Penn's win over Mansfield.

Jayden Bennermon (St. Thomas Aquinas) - Caught five passes for 85 yards and three touchdowns in win over Molloy.

Hunter Gennicks (Navy) - Rushed 10 times for 158 yards and three touchdowns in win over Cornell.

Harrison Gudzik (St. Thomas Aquinas) - Returned the second-half kickoff 67 yards for a touchdown in the win over Molloy.
