2024 Week #1 Honorees

Gennicks picked up where he left off after a solid freshman campaign, leading the Midshipmen in rushing with 224 yards on 29 carries and three rushing touchdowns … Trailing 7-0, Gennicks scored the game-tying touchdown, a three-yard plunge into the end zone for his first score of the year … Gennicks gave the Midshipmen the lead with a 51-yard jaunt into the end zone as time expired in the first quarter … Gennicks scored what would prove to be the game-winning touchdown in the fourth quarter, scoring from 11 yards out to put Navy in front 31-19 (Navy would hold on to win 31-26).
Havrilak produced seven tackles, including five solo, to help lead an outstanding defensive effort as Chestnut Hill downed Caldwell, 28-6, in the season opener. He also produced three stops behind the line of scrimmage for a total of minus-12 yards in total losses.
The reigning CSFL Special Teams Player of the Year, Montemayor was a perfect 3-for-3 in extra-point attempts in Saturday's season-opening 24-0 triumph over St. Thomas Aquinas. He also drilled a 22-yard field goal and had 265 yards over five kick offs.
Malone had a strong debut for Penn in the 24-0 win over STAC as he rushed for three touchdowns and averaged nearly five yards per rush. He also completed 7-of-12 passes for 120 yards and averaged 17.1 yards per completion.
HONOR ROLL
Anthony Cancellare (Chestnut Hill) -- Threw for 118 yards and three scores in a season-opening 28-6 win over Caldwell.
Josh Johnson (Penn) -- Intercepted a pass and returned it 40 yards in a shut-out win over STAC (24-0).
Arjun Petgrave (Caldwell) -- Caught four passes for 93 yards, including a 58-yard TD reception, against CHC.
Jayden Bennermon (St. Thomas Aquinas) -- Averaged 46.6 yards per punt, including booming a 64 yarder, while having a pair of boots downed inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
