2019 CSFL Postseason Honors

Penn quarterback Eddie Jenkins was named the 2019 CSFL Player of the Year, taking home the Kay Trophy as the top overall performer as voted by the league's head coaches. Mansfield running back Terrance Quaker was named the Newcomer of the Year.
In addition to the two major award winners for for the 2019 season, the complete list of All-CSFL honorees and All-Academic honorees was announced Friday. The All-CSFL team is selected by the head coaches in the league and is split into first team, second team and honorable mention recognitions.
The coaches in the league selected Jenkins as the Player of the Year after the senior quarterback led the league in total offense with 1,777 yards (253.9 per game), scoring (98 points) and rushing touchdowns (16). Jenkins averaged 6.6 yards per carry and scored 16 rushing touchdowns on 87 attempts while also completing 66.7 percent of his passes for 1,207 yards with 11 touchdowns.
Quaker was chosen as the top rookie in the league and was selected to first team All-CSFL honors as a kick returner. The freshman rushed two times for 88 yards and one touchdown, but made his mark on special teams, where he averaged a league-high 26.5 yards on kickoff returns for 451 total yards, which included an 88-yard touchdown return.
All 10 teams that completed a full season in the CSFL are represented on the All-CSFL squad.
The 2019 CSFL season saw North Division champion Army West Point come away with the overall crown after defeating South Division champion Navy by a 13-0 score in the third annual CSFL title game, which was played Nov. 8 at Franklin Field in Philadelphia. The two fierce rivals split a pair of games this season after Navy was victorious 14-7 on the road at Army in week two.
Army finished the year with a 7-1 overall record that included a 4-0 mark in the North Division. Mansfield set a school record with a 5-2 overall mark and a 3-1 divisional record to finish second in the North. St. Thomas Aquinas and Cornell both went 2-2 in divisional play and Post rounded out the North Division with an 0-4 mark.
Navy won the South Division with a 4-0 record and finished the season with a 7-1 mark. Penn finished second with a 5-2 overall record and a 3-1 showing in the division. Chestnut Hill set a school record for wins with a 5-2 overall record that included a 2-2 showing in the division. Caldwell was fourth in the South at 1-3 and newcomer Alderson Broaddus wrapped up its inaugural season with a 1-6 overall record and an 0-4 divisional mark.
In addition to the All-CSFL announcement below, the league also announced its 20 selections to the All-Academic team. Head coaches from each school may select two honorees for the All-Academic squad that they determine to display excellence in their academic studies.
